Hey!Thanks for taking time to look at my carrd. Below is a list of my RP rules, as well as OOC information. For whichever character you may have found me on please click their button to get more information about them. <3RP RULES:- Don't blur; know the difference between OOC and IC. I am not my character.
- 21+ RP only, I prefer mature, communicative RP partners
- IRL comes first, with no exceptions
- Get creepy, get ghosted
- No means no; if I've not consented about something or if I'm uncomfortable and have spoken up about it. Take my answer. Period.
- ERP; Must be a result of organically developed relationship between characters and discussed OOCly. I retain the right to fade to black and/or outright refuse.
- I am a lore-abiding RPer; I will ignore or approach from a lore-abiding lense, anything about your character that is lore-breaking.
- I am generally open to RP most situations; some darker or more mature things but it needs to be discussed prior to doing so. Some things are too intense or are a hard no for me.

I'lydia's Life Story (Abridged)

Born from an unusual arrangement, she is a daughter of two worlds. Her mother and Adoptive father are the owners of the Dahl Trading Consortium, a multinational mega organization founded by I'lydia's great great grandparents... Though such organizations are in need of a stable succession line and her family is no different. With her mother Ilania being a Raen like Liddy, and I'mran her adoptive father being a miqote options for a clear line of succession were somewhat limited to her mother, Enter Kenzu Sutenaki. Expressing the need to have children for the sake of the company, and the typical stereotypical bigotry most hybrids endured in Eorzea, a decision was made between her parents for her mother to have children with Kenzu, an at the time life long friend met many years previously in Sui no Sato. Her formative years would be filled with many fond memories of this unusual dynamic, spending summers beneath the waves, and the many travels her parents would take her on when not visiting her biological father, whom she maintains a cordial supportive relationship with to this day. To honor her adoptive father to whom Ilania was married, she would name the child in the same manner as the miqote, though its pronunciation would use its entire spelling, I'lydia.It was during one such travels that she met with misfortune in that the ship she was passing on back home was attacked by a Garlean raiding vessel intent on plundering the cargo and taking the crew as conscripts. Though they were quickly driven off by the guns of their DTC escort vessels and steel of her personal security entourage, there was a brief moment where she was forced to hide from boarders that resulted in knocking her right horn in a manner that left a lasting injury in terms of auditory perception. Confronted with the reality of conflicts at such an early age left its mark on the young Raen, and it was after this that she developed a slight anxiety towards specific situations. Her security escort under the command of an Aura named Zival, most of whom had been with her since she could walk, was increased from three to twelve, with an emphasis on capable warriors that also had an appearance that a young Raen would find comforting, hence the inclusion of a white Hrothgar named Naegin whom she stuck to like glue for a time calling them 'Kitty'.Most of her years growing were uneventful, spending the majority of her time learning the arts of Thaumaturgy from Aurora, a close family friend, and Evasion/Self Defense from Zival, while she is relatively untested in terms of battle, she became a capable mage and was well drilled in escape should the need ever arise. Her teenage years would see her meet at the time what would become her best friend, S'eidr Lovell, another Raen that had been raised by a Miqote named Halsin and trained in the arts of the rogue. Two two became neigh inseparable, often slipping the leash of her security escort to spend their days among the Limsan markets, or occasionally beneath the seas when S'eidr would be permitted to accompany I'lydia on visits to see Kenzu.Around age twenty, something changed between her and her lifelong friend in S'eidr and before long the two were taking time away for more than just the occasional shopping trip at I'lydia's behest. Conversations became more intense, and things progressed naturally until the eventuality of love would develop between them and their vows would be exchanged. She would take a similar approach in relationships to her mother, with each remaining devoted to the other but semi open in their case. Seeing their daughter happy and maturing after she married, the Dahls would begin to assign her more and more responsibility from trade negotiations to contract settlements until at last turning over the philanthropy project of the Stardust Keep Museum to her and S'eidr, an administrative job the two excelled at. Recently she has met a Miqote named Varyn and through him conceived a child of her own.With the advent of the Final Days, the museum was moved to the neutral ground of Kugane, to both be closer to the DTC's main office and also to take advantage of the relative security of the region due watchful eye of the Sekiseigumi.

The Dahl Trading Consortium

While not the head of the DTC as her parents currently run the operation, Liddy is next in line to head the family business someday. The Dahl Trading Consortium, or DTC as it is shortened, is a massive trading organization started and created by Ikania Dahl, I'lydia's great-great grandmother. Based in Thavnair it steadily increased its scope of influence until it rivaled that of even the largest Eorzean based trading syndicates, with dozens of smaller businesses and organizations under its umbrella it boasts an impressive transport network of airships and sailing vessels capable of delivering Stardust museum staff of Pegasus Corps members wherever they need go. A household name in the near east, its recent in roads into Eorzea have seen its popularity rise due to its more humanitarian nature compared to most other Eorzean based organizations; having answered the call of chaos many times to deliver aide to those in need within its sphere of influence through material supply donations or in some cases even volunteer manpower. It is a massive behemoth of an organization, and while profit is its primary goal it has maintained a large amount of charitable endeavors to both better their world and also spread goodwill towards the consortium.
